One market makes it very easy for anyone to open a shop online and sell very easily and with very little stress. All you need to do is upload open a shop with Us and upload Your products, whenever an order is made you get notified so we pick up the item ordered and then deliver it to the Customer. We are working hard to automate this process. When the order is completed (delivered), the payment will be made available to you and displayed on Your Vendor dashboard. You can make a withdrawal of Your sales anytime. Opening a shop with us makes you one of our Vendors. You must have read and accepted our Vendor Policy. Once you have read our terms and conditions, you can now proceed to the Registration/Sign-Up page. Here you will have to fill information pertaining to who you are and about Your shop. You will be required to fill in; Your Names, Password, Location, Contact information, Store name, and later You will go through the process of Putting a store logo, Banner, and other important store information. Vendors after registering have to pay a small monthly token of 2000 FCFA billed on their registration and later per month to keep their store up and running with the services on One Market’s platform. This is done to maintain the functionality of the platform and extending the services provided to Vendors. After this is paid, You will be directed to Your dashboard where You can see Sales, Orders, Reviews, Product stats, and announcements.

We are reasonably certain that can never happen on One Market. The strategies and structures we have put in place to strongly fight fraud and scams are highly guaranteed. Firstly Vendors are required to identify themselves with Documents such as their license, ID cards, or proof so we can rectify the Vendor. Again, to add to that, Deliveries are carried out solely by One Market. This means there is no chance a sale can go through if we are not aware of it to convey the delivery process. With this, You get what You paid for and if it isn’t available, the Vendor can’t walk away with Your money. We strongly advise customers to carry out all transactions on One Market so we can easily trace faults and also carry out refunds. However, even with these strategies in place, we believe we cannot be 100% secured as some breaches can go by without Us noticing. Please if You have encountered such a situation before. One Market is not only secured with SSL certificates, anti-spam techniques, and web privacy but also for You the Customer, we have implemented several strategies to make sure You have the best of guarantee and security. We will continue implementing new techniques to meet up with Your demands of security. Firstly, Your data as a customer is treated with the utmost security and concern. Your data as a Customer is not shared with unauthorized 3rd parties ( You should be aware that 3rd parties handle some of Your data to process information as per Your needs. For example, the payments on One Market is carried out by a third party which transacts payments). Your personal data as to Your usage of One Market is not shared with other organizations or bodies.

As to Your usage on One Market, all Vendors are trusted on One Market as they have gone through the process of identifying themselves with IDs. documents and other identification resources to show proof of responsibility and ownership. To make this more secure, we have made the deliveries to be carried out by Us. This means Vendors cannot falsely fraud Customers over products bought. Unless an order is completed, the funds cannot be accessed by that Vendor, and also You as the Customer can ask for refunds as per the requirements set by One Market.

This is a problem even One Market is worried about and is doing everything possible to normalize it. It should be noted that One Market does not sell any of the items You purchase from One Shop. Each time You place an order, the product ordered has to be fetched from the Vendor You purchased the item from, before delivered to You the Customer. This is what makes the transport costs higher and sometimes it may be more than the paid amount done by the Customer. We understand paying high delivery fees may seem like a burden to Customers and One Market is fully looking into that so it provides it’s Customers not only with speed but also with lower delivery costs. Solutions are already on the way to solve this problem and changes will be noticed by You to satisfy Your experience on One Market.

This is another situation that certainly cannot happen on One Market. This is likely not to happen as Vendors are well verified before they start selling on One Market and there is no Vendor-Customer relationship that can allow for Vendors to carry out fraudulent activities. You as Customers are less likely to have this issue come up if You place an order. Also, One market fully takes charge of the deliveries. If we get to a Vendor with a malfunctioned item or a product not in good shape, we will have to cancel the order and inform You. We will also submit to You the Customer other Vendors You can make that purchase from. We believe this method may not seem favorable to all Customers, that is why we have implemented a refund option. However, refunds cannot be made on all products, they have to be in line with our refund Policy or what has been put in place by the Vendor.

Buying from any vendor is like buying from One Market. One Market which brings together shops under its platform is liable to make sure all Vendors are in accordance with terms they have agreed upon while signing up. Our Vendors have equal abilities, services, and functionalities. So buying from any Vendor is literally like buying from One Market itself which is the parent entity and legal e-commerce market.

One Market functioning as an E-commerce market makes it possible for people to buy and download songs online along with other digital products. However, songs sold on One Market have to be sold by authorized brands, musicians, producers, and music studios. People who are involved in selling songs on One Market do not register as usual Vendors and have to Contact Us personally and show proof of them being an authorized party to distribute songs by that artist or brand. After contacting Us, they will be given a customizable dashboard where they can then function as a legal distributor of that music on One Market.

Musicians or brands who will want to sell their merch such as T-shirts, Caps, and brand apparel will have to go through the normal process of being a Vendor and register as normal vendors. This can be done by creating a new Vendor’s account or by contacting Us. Brands who will want to bypass this will have their accounts banned and removed. Likewise, Vendors who will also try to bypass this and sell songs directly without contacting Us will have access to their stores denied and withheld permanently.

One Market personally recognizes figurative authorized brands and businesses who after going through the process of verifying their shops by submitting legal documents pertaining to the stature of the shop will be verified. Shop owners after submitting these documents will have to wait for a period of 3-7 days while we go through the submitted documents to identify and give our feedback on the approval status. However, specific conditions have to be met for Shops to attain verification. Shop verification is Free and One Market charges nothing for verifying Shop owners.

One Market tries to optimize delivery speeds to make sure Customers get their orders processed and delivered as soon as an order placed. However, this will greatly depend on the distance of the Vendor from the Customer. If the product fetched is from a Vendor in Your town, the maximum wait time is 2 hours. Between close cities such as Douala, Limbe, and Buea the wait time is not above 3-4 hrs to get Your order to Your doorstep. Our maximum delivery time is 8 hours and that is for distances which are between two distant cities. The reason why we have limited our main functionalities to primary cities. This maximum wait time is not the time in choch You will get your order, as some may be lesser than that. The maximum wait time is the standard time we are to meet up with for any order.

Moreso, we are limiting these areas so we can fully be efficient in areas that have frequent orders. In some towns we are not fully functional in, we will depict pickup locations so Customers can get their orders in any location across Cameroon.

As a Vendor, the algorithms on One Market processes and understand USer’s data to display or suggest products to them. Some of these data are manually generated. To have a higher chance of Your product showing up on a Customer’s view, some requirements have to be met. Firstly, Your product must carry clear and concise information as to what it is, the price, and also the variations (If there is any). One of the most important aspects to consider is Your product image ( the main image You select for a product). The main image needs to have a white background so it blends in with the shop interface. We have put in place an algorithm to detect white background images and subsequently display them so this doesn’t distort the interface. This is done because white backgrounds make Customers see clearly what they will like to buy without distortions in the image shown to them.
